Burgled Bricks

A Lego theft in Germany makes me realize just how valuable these simple plastic bricks really are.

Not the bricks you might be expecting though. Lego bricks. In Germany yesterday burglars knocked a hole in the wall of a toy store in order to steal Lego bricks. The thieves made off with dozens of sets, leaving about 100 empty boxes behind.

Imagination Time?

Roll for initiative. I have a quest to find a tabletop game compatible with my family values.

So I’ve been struggling with this idea in my head that I’ve had for a long time. I’ve wanted to have a family role-playing game that I can share with my children. For most others, this question is simple to solve, grab your nearest D&D manual and some dice from the comic store, sit down and make some elves and gnomes and orcs as PCs, then grab a campaign book and you’re good to go. However, therein lies a problem for me. A big problem.

Oh Walmart

Limiting human interaction is bad for your mental health, wearing masks a good for your physical health.

Sometimes you do things that are really dumb and then you redeem yourself with something incredibly smart.

Last month Walmart announced it was going to remove all cashiers from its Fayetteville store #359 as a test. Now this month they are going to require all patrons to wear facemasks before entering the store.
